Overall Champion and Runner-Up

To be eligible for the Overall Champion and Runner-Up awards you must have competed in the Pro division of all three events.  The awards are based on a handler/dog team.

Overall Calculation: Both scoring rounds for a team will be totaled for each of the three events.  A multiplier will be used to attempt to weight the events more evenly.

Toss/Fetch = total of both rounds * 1.11
Freestyle = total of both rounds * 1.0
Gauntlet = total of both rounds * 1.25

These scores will then be added together to determine the Overall Champion and Runner-Up.

Rules:
  1. Walk your dog in front of the building in the grassy area, and always clean up after your dog.  Stay on QCDTC property when walking your dog.  Do not use the neighboring business grassy areas. Spray cleaner will be available in the building, clean up after any accident in the building ASAP.

  2. Do not let your dog off leash (inside or outside) unless it is competing.

  3. Do not interrupt Judges while they are judging.

  4. Poor sportsmanship of any sort can get you disqualified from the event, by the QCDTC officials and/or Event Judging Staff, without a refund.  Unlawful acts will be reported and prosecuted.

  5. To make it as comfortable as possible for all competitors please use only the indoor space you need for crating.  If you have a barking dog please make an effort keep it quiet or crate it outside of the building.

  6. Mind your dog at all times, we will be in close quarters.  Do not let un-proofed dogs meet.

  7. Keep the floor clean of litter and food.  If any of the QCDTC facilities need attention please let an official or Judge know ASAP before it becomes a bigger problem.

  8. Be mindful of the run order and have your dog walked and ready when you are called, “On Deck”.  A smooth running event is better for everyone.

  9. Have fun.
